From her first memories of learning to cook with her grandmother to her time working in professional restaurants, Chef Roberta Paglia has remained inspired by the joy and laughter that can be produced in the kitchen alongside delicious and beautiful food.

Chef Berta is a graduate of the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and remains on the roster of professional instructors. She's currently honing her culinary skills working alongside James Beard Nominee Chef Cassie Piuma and the incredible team at Sarma in Somerville, MA.

Cooking Club and online connection
​
The Covid-19 pandemic brought the need for human connection front and center and Chef Berta found it through her neighborhood cooking club. She extended her friend and neighbor group and found laughter online though events she hosted and with local chefs.
​
Despite the call from her group of enthusiastic cooking club followers​, Chef Berta decided to attend culinary school instead and add gravitas to her passion and love of food.
​
Today Berta's Kitchen offers classes in-person and online as a way for friends, colleagues and other culinary enthusiasts to share in the laughter that can be found in the kitchen alongside amazing food.
